About Opal Travel

Opal Travel is an independent travel agency formed in 2003 with the aim of "putting customer service back on the map".

Since our launch, we have gained experience within the wider travel and holiday market, especially in the area of tailor-made holidays and cruise holidays. More recently, as a result of personal experience, we have begun to concentrate on holidays for clients with special dietary or mobility needs.

Opal Travel is a member of the Global Travel Group Plc (TGTG).

TGTG was formed in 1993 and has quickly grown to become one of the UK's leading travel companies.

The Group comprises of 800 nationwide independent members. The size, stature and buying power of the Group ensures that our members have access to the most competitive holidays and flights in the UK allowing you, the customer, to rest assured that you have the best possible deal to suit your requirements.

Members of TGTG have access to around 160 of the leading and specialist tour operators and suppliers. Customer service is a priority with members of TGTG and unlike the majority of the other High Street travel agents, TGTG is not aligned with any particular tour operator therefore, you will find that our members provide a truly impartial holiday service that suits your individual needs. In the interests of consumer protection all TGTG members are fully bonded.
